About Michigan Sports Performance
Train the Future You.
Michigan Sports Performance was created with one goal: to give young athletes a place where they can train with purpose, develop confidence, and become better competitors.
MSP is more than a place to run through drills. We believe athletes develop when they receive quality instruction, individual attention, competitive repetitions, and an environment that challenges them to improve.
Our vision is to continue growing MSP into an all-inclusive sports performance facility where athletes from multiple sports can train, develop, and prepare to compete at their highest level.
Basketball Performance Training
Basketball is at the heart of MSP.
Our Basketball Performance Training combines small-group instruction with game-speed development. Athletes work on shooting, ball handling, footwork, offensive and defensive concepts, basketball IQ, decision-making, and confidence.
The goal isn't simply to become better at drills. It's to become a better basketball player when the game starts.
MSP offers:
- Monthly Basketball Performance Training
- Drop-In Training Sessions
- Youth Basketball Clinics
- Specialty Basketball Clinics
- Small-Group Skill Development
- Game-Speed & Competitive Training
- Performance Evaluations & Progress Tracking
Volleyball Training & Clinics
As MSP continues to grow, we're expanding our training opportunities beyond basketball.
Volleyball Performance Training and Specialty Volleyball Clinics will provide athletes with opportunities to develop fundamental skills, improve movement and athleticism, and receive focused instruction in a competitive training environment.
Our volleyball programming will include:
- Volleyball Skill Development
- Small-Group Training
- Position-Specific Instruction
- Serving, Passing & Hitting Development
- Footwork & Movement Training
- Specialty Clinics
- Competitive Training Opportunities
Speed, Agility & Performance Clinics
Athletic performance goes beyond sport-specific skills. MSP Speed & Agility Clinics are designed to help athletes become faster, quicker, stronger, and more confident in how they move.
These clinics are designed to benefit athletes across multiple sports, giving them an opportunity to develop the physical tools that can translate directly to competition.
Speed and performance training may include:
- Acceleration & First-Step Quickness
- Sprint Technique
- Agility & Change of Direction
- Explosive Movement
- Footwork & Coordination
- Balance & Body Control
- Reaction & Competitive Drills
- Overall Athletic Development
Whether an athlete plays basketball, volleyball, soccer, football, baseball, softball, or another sport, the goal is the same: develop better movement and become a more complete athlete.
The Future of MSP
We're building something bigger.
Our long-term vision is for Michigan Sports Performance to become an all-inclusive sports performance facility serving athletes across multiple sports and age groups.
As MSP grows, so will the opportunities available to our athletes — including additional sports, specialty clinics, speed and agility training, performance training, strength and conditioning, camps, and other athlete-development programs.
We want MSP to be a place where an athlete can walk through the doors with a goal and find the coaching, training, resources, and competitive environment needed to pursue it.
Whether you're stepping onto the basketball court, volleyball court, field, or preparing for your next season, the mission remains the same:
Develop the athlete. Build the competitor. Prepare for the game.
