The MSPA is offering a two days of advanced speed and explosiveness training over the holiday break. The program is designed for youth athletes, ages 12 to 17. All of our camps are designed to teach proper body mechanics and to teach our athletes how to leverage the skills they develop at our camps to take advantage of those skills on the field of play.
Day 1- Intro to Speed - Athletes learn how simple plyometrics training combined with core stability translates to sports performance.
Day 2 -Advanced Lateral movement and Jump training - Athletes will learn proper body mechanics that translate to better performance. We know that unless your sport is sprinting, all athletes must be able to move laterally and jump. While this sounds simple, there are very specific ways to train to improve side to side movement as well as jumping explosiveness.
